This blog and t-shirts are a tribute to the funny Geico commercial featuring R. Lee Ermey. We all know that there are those among us who frequent Mamby Pamby Land. I think it is a reaction to this fact that makes this commercial so good. What better way to strike back than with tough drill sargent R. Lee Ermey, who I'm a big fan of from way back to Full Metal Jacket. Geico has a way of coming up with fun and interesting commercials, and this is one of their best.
Yeah, and what is a Jackwagon anyway? Talk about Geico going retro. This term comes from way back in the 80's and 90's.....the 1880's and 1890's! Jackwagon Definition is that it was a term given to those on a cattle drive that would screw up. They would be compared to the cook by the other cowboys. The cook of course worked off a chuck wagon. It's a great insult to lob at someone, because it sounds alot worse than it really is.
